Babs learned to knit at a young age from her mom and grandmothers, and to this day it is still her favorite craft and way to relax. This simple hat design started as a way to use up yarn from other projects, and a few years later Babs, her mom, and her aunt are still knitting these versatile hats each winter season. Made from a combination of fine yarns such as merino wool, cashmere, silk, and baby alpaca.
